In June 2013, I was $726,000 in debt due to a failed business venture. For many people, that may have signaled the end of their entrepreneurial passions. But desperation has this funny way of unlocking creativity 😉
I realized that my biggest problem had been failing to bring in a consistent stream of qualified leads for my business.
The only way to get out of this mess was to find something that worked and leverage the hell out of it. So that’s what I did, and three years later, not only have I paid off all the debt and but I’ve generated multiple millions in revenue using this weird but effective online formula I like to call the Sidewalk, Slow Lane, Fast Lane Method.
Today, I use my 12 years of experience in entrepreneurship and online marketing to help other entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
I broke into the online marketing industry about five years ago, while I was a university business student. Back then I was in charge of the online marketing for a small used car dealership. While they had hired me to post ads on Kijiji and handle other mundane, low-impact tasks, I had different plans in mind. Within 18 months, I was able to carry out a total website redevelopment, and the setup of several profitable Google AdWords campaigns. I also helped multiply their Facebook audience by more than 10x using the original Facebook Ads platform, and led the way towards the adaptation of a CRM system, instead of continuing to track leads using the outdated pen-and-paper approach.
Having reached my plateau in that position, I moved on by completing my university studies in marketing. I also obtained a technical degree in web technologies. That’s when I founded my first web design agency, carrying out over 100 web projects in a span of about 2 years. Along the way, I started a couple of different companies, picked up my first few consulting gigs, got a few more marketing certifications, made a few bucks, and learned pretty much everything you should NOT do if you want to be successful in business.
In July of 2016, fed up with the web design industry and looking to make a much larger impact, I joined the INFINITUS team. As Head of Marketing, I spend most of my time these days developing our marketing strategies and putting things into action by executing on those plans. I spend a lot my time working with Facebook ads, email marketing, and website management. I spend the rest of my time passing my knowledge along directly to our clients, through 1-on-1 calls, and by responding to posts in our premium Facebook groups.
I love working alongside entrepreneurs who have a deep desire to move their business forward. So with that in mind, once you sign-up for LeadCraft, tag me in the groups and let’s get moving together 🙂
I’m a recovering political operative turned marketing dude. I head up entrepreneur experience @ INFINITUS. That means I make sure our funnels work, build out the mechanics of our courses, and oversee customer support. Basically, I make sure the stuff you see looks good, sounds good, and generally seems coherent. I’m here to help if you need tips to optimize your customer experience or make your funnels work better 🙂
I’m the weird art kid that every good team has. I don’t sleep much, but I make great things. I’m the Creative Lead here at INFINITUS. I use over a decade of design and marketing experience to keep our visuals and brand on point. Other than that I really dig Batman, and keeping body copy to a minimum --including this bio.
I am the Project Manager at INFINITUS. I’m closing in on a decade of experience in the Internet marketing world and loved every minute of me. If you’re the kind of person who’s into random facts, then I’ve got a few for you. In rapid succession, I'm a Virgo, have OCD tendencies, and am relentless about having processes for processes for processes.
I live out in northern New Jersey (20 minutes outside of Manhattan) with my fiance and my infant son, Ronan.
I am the Content Ninja here at Infinitus. I help develop, manage, and distribute our content across various channels. I basically take all the great wisdom from Scott and cram it into neat little packages for everyone to enjoy. I am a father, husband, follower of Jesus, musician, a producer, author, teacher, and a digital marketer. I live with my family in Minneapolis, MN.
I'm the the Facebook Ads & Automation guru. My main role is to implement and get the show on the road. I do all the dirty work, from setting up ads, working on ad creative, and building the logic into our e-mail marketing campaigns.
I live in the Great White North (aka, Toronto, Canada). After work, I like to unwind by producing and listening to music. I produce everything from pop to funky electronic music, and every flavour of house.
Rick has been working with businesses and entrepreneurs to improve their sales and content funnels since 2011 as a consultant and coach. His first client was an order of monks (yes, really) who wanted to explore the possibilities of outreach on social media - they're still going strong and are constantly contacted by other similar groups to learn the secrets to successful online outreach.
And hey, if you can sell monks, you can sell anything with a good funnel. Rick is the head of entrepreneur experience @ INFINITUS.
